Two female students of the University of Professional Studies (UPSA) in Accra have been expelled from their hostel over an allege sexual misconduct.
According to a statement flying on social media, the dismissed students had sexual interc0urse with a single guy at the same time in their hostel.
The dude who banged the two ladies in turns on the same bed has been found to be a non-resident student.
The said female students are also claimed to have f0ndled each other during their sexual escapade and again engaged in some form of lesbianism.
School authorities said the students broke the university rules.
‘Engaging in acts of lesbianism is contrary to Section 1.28.11(g) of the Student Handbook of the University of Professional Studies, Accra; 2018 and Schedule G 8.3 (23) of the Statute of the University’, a portion of the circular read.
The statement confirmed that ‘They have since been dismissed from UPSA Hostel awaiting further sanctions from Management’.
The school warned students to ‘Desist from sexual misconduct and observe all other rules and regulations in the Hostel as well as the Student Handbook. Any student caught infringing any of the regulations will not be spared’.
In Wednesday, November 24, 2021 press statement, the institution however said no such report on the alleged incident was before the management of the school.
Also, the public notice which communicated the said expulsion of the students did not follow the approved procedure for communicating such decisions, state-owned Graphiconline.com reported.
‘The Vice-Chancellor of UPSA is the Chief Disciplinary Officer, and all decisions taken by the Vice-Chancellor are communicated through the Registrar’, the Wednesday release observed.
‘Any disciplinary communication that does not follow the above procedure is not authorized by Management and should therefore be disregarded.
‘The University further states that no disciplinary report on the alleged incident is before Management for final decision. Members of the Public are therefore advised to disregard the story’.
