Video of a Ghanaian female TV presenter who has difficulty with the pronunciation of ‘r’ and ‘l’ sounds of the English language has caught everyone’s attention on social media.

The presenter, fair in complexion and seen wearing what looks like an expensive Brazilian wig interviewed a couple of the stars who featured in a local movie dubbed, Away Bus.

The movie was premiered in Kumasi in April this year. This is where the Akan -speaking presenter had the opportunity to interview comic actors such as Kalybos, Lil Wayne and Akuapem Poloo on the red carpet.

The beautiful presenter, by all standards asked the actors a number of deep questions which even most top-notch Ghanaian entertainment journalists will hardly ask.

In spite of this, we observe that the TV presenter has a serious challenge with the pronunciation of ‘r’ and ‘l’ sounds of the English language. It is so bad that people have had ‘oral diarrhoea’ after watching the trending video.

We can’t confirm if the video has been d0ctored to make the TV presenter look bad in the eyes of the public.

Can you imagine she pronounced the word, P.L.A.Y as ‘Pray’ and K.A.L.Y.B.O.S as ‘Karybos’?

We reckon that a significant number of Ghanaians also relatively can’t differentiate between the ‘r’ and ‘l’ sounds of the English language.
