Kumawood actress Nana Ama McBrown may soon take legal action against popular American TV station, Fox 5 News over comments they made about her in one of their programmes.
Panelists on Fox 5 News in a recent broadcast commented on a viral video in which McBrown kissed and licked the fingers of her one-year old baby Maxin.
The panelists on the show disagreed with McBrown’s way of showing affection towards Baby Maxin. They described the action of the Ghanaian actress as disgusting and unnecessary.
‘It’s way too far…you can show affection in a lot of ways but that was way too far’, one of the panelists said.
Another panelist added:
‘I don’t wanna see it, I don’t like this at all. I don’t wanna really judge another parent… you can show affection in a lot of different ways, that for me was over the line’.
US-based Ghanaian lawyer Kwame Fosu Appiah Danquah Ameyaw has suggested that such comments amount to ridiculing of the actress and her daughter.
‘You see how the Fox News broadcast has opened the way for people to say negative things about McBrown, I wish she will take legal action against the television station as well the other bloggers who carried the story on their platforms’, Lawyer Ameyaw said in an interview with Kasatintin.com.
Her Instagram post read: ‘Life- live it to please yourself’. Many have argued this a subtle reply to the news channel’s comment about her ‘infamous’ viral video.
McBrown, indeed depends on God, not man for the supply of the air she breathes everyday.
The beautiful actress is well paid at UTV where she anchors two of the most-watched entertainment programmes on TV today- United Entertainment and McBrown’s Kitchen.
You shouldn’t be surprised at the way McBrown talks these days. Apart from being a superstar , McBrown is also an employee of a media group which is managed by Dr Osei Kwame Despite, one of the Top 5 millionaires in Ghana.
