It’s barely 24 hours since popular television presenter Nana Yaa Brefo resigned from Adom TV.
The ‘Badawam’ host announced on her Instagram page that she has bowed out of Adom TV and Multimedia Group ‘to follow other dreams’, and per our information from a close source this involves three main considerations.
Speculations are rife she might join UTV, but this is likely not going to happen as there is a perceived bad blood between her and Nana Ama McBrown who already works at Despite Media.
Management of Despite Media should be prepared to address this concern before making any move to poach the Adom TV presenter.
Kasatintin.com has learnt that Nana Yaa Brefo will continue to work in the media landscape but she prefers to set up her personal YouTube channel at this point of her career. The channel will broadcast contents similar to Kasatintin TV and Kofi TV.
The ‘Badwam’ host is likely to combine this with a part-time teaching job in one of the private journalism schools in Accra.
Nana Yaa Brefo is an entrepreneur. She runs a big restaurant, Nana’s Pizza in Accra. She will invest her time and resources in the restaurant business.
On Sunday, Nana Yaa Brefo shared a video on social media and explained why she resigned from Adom TV.
She played Diana Hamilton’s song ‘Yehowa Behw3 wo’ to summarize her story.
‘He is a faithful God’, she captioned her post.
You will break down in tears if you watch what Nana Yaa Brefo said in the video below.
