The Presbyterian Church of Ghana (Trinity Congregation) in Osenase near Asamankese in the Eastern Region was on Saturday dawn attacked by robbers.
The robbers broke into the church premises on September 26, 2020 and stole their music instruments worth millions of cedis. The stolen items include a drum set, bass and lead guitar, keyboard and an audio mixer.
The Osenase Presby Church hired a private sound system to enable them conduct a befitting memorial service for a prominent member of the church Saturday morning, Kasatintin.com can report.
The unknown thieves carried out similar operations at the premises of the Church of Pentecost in the same area. They made away with music instruments and other handy church property.
A lot of criminal activities have gone on this week. Osofo Kyiri Abosom, who is the flagbearer of the Ghana Union Movement (GUM) was also robbed on Tuesday.
According to information, the robbers broke into the Kumasi residence of Osofo Kyiri Abosom on Tuesday night. They allegedly hacksawed the metal fence wall to gain access to the compound of the GUM flagbearer’s home.
They also hacksawed a burglarproof window and used a yellow gallon as a footstool to gain access to the living room.
They proceded to ransack most of the rooms of the house, and made away with TV sets, a number of electrical gadgets and some clothes.
