The Electoral Commission (EC) of Ghana has changed the time it will officially declare the winner of Monday’s presidential polls.
A statement by the EC said it has ‘extended its intended timeline for declaring the 2020 Presidential election result..The new timeline will be communicated shortly’.
This will ‘ensure the collation of results at Constituency and Regional Collation Centres across the country is accurate’, the statement added.
The EC early said the results will be announced at 5pm on Tuesday December 8, 2020.
The declaration would be done at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC), Kasatintin.com can report.
The question is, who becomes the next president of the Republic of Ghana. Is it going to to be NDC’s John Dramani Mahama or incumbent Nana Akufo-Addo? Ayɛhuhuuhu!
