News making rounds suggest that Electoral Commission (EC) Chairperson Jean Mensa and her deputies have been flown out of Ghana after declaring the 2020 presidential election results.
Reports said Mrs Mensa and other commissioners travelled out of the country under a special arrangement to avoid being attacked by some people who are unhappy with the results of the December 7 polls.
The information is spreading fast like bushfire through social media.
Kasatintin.com can report to our cherished readers that the EC chairperson and her duties are still in Ghana.
The Electoral Commission earlier today released a statement saying ‘Jean Mensa, the Chairperson of the Electoral Commission, as well as all the Commissioners are at post discharging their legally mandated duties.’
The Commission urged the public to disregard the ‘fake news’ as the EC boss is still at post.
