Isreal Kofi Baffour Asare, a member of the NPP communications team in the Jaman South constituency is in big trouble.
Mr. Baffour Asare was handed a harsh punishment after he insulted the Queen mother of the Drobo Traditional Area in the Bono East Region.
The NPP communicator is said to have described Nana Yaa Ansuaa with some unpleasant words and was, therefore, subjected to 40 strong lashes.
The traditional authorities have also warned Baffour Asare to be of good behaviour, else he will be expelled from the land.
But Mr Baffour Asare has denied ever insulting the traditional leader.
According to him, he was going about his duties when he was tackled by some young men and conveyed to the palace where he was caned 40 times.
