The final funeral rites for the late former President Jerry John Rawlings is underway in Accra.
Several dignitaries and members of the public have lined up to pay their last respect to Rawlings before the body is interred at the Military Cemetery on Wednesday.
A 52-year-old woman identified as Abigail Mautor has also attended the funeral service, claiming Rawlings is her biological father.
Old woman Abigail Mautor made a shocking disclosure and suggested that she’s the first daughter of Rawlings.
She even indicated her readiness to undergo a paternity test to confirm her claim.
Abigail Mautor is reported to have stated in an interview that she left the shores of Ghana some years ago to save her life after narrating her story to Grace Omaboe, popularly known as Maame Dokono.
According to her, it was Maame Dokono who gave her money to move out of the country in 2003.
‘Maame Dokono knows about this. In 2003, I paid a visit and told her about my story, but she told me if I don’t keep quiet about it I may die. So she gave me money and I left the country’, she said.
