Renowned Ghanaian pastor, Prophet Kofi Oduro has suggested that ladies who break their virginity before getting married deserve no bride price.
Prophet Oduro, who often ‘talks by heart’ believes that such ladies are worth only two hundred Ghana Cedis (GHS 200).
The founder of the Alabaster International Ministry argued that the value of womanhood devalues if a lady breaks her virginity and further sleeps around with men.
According to Prophet Oduro, it will be unfair for the family of a woman with overused ‘engine’ and sagging breasts to demand an expensive dowry from a suitor.
The man of God said in a video sighted by Kasatintin.com that;
‘I don’t have a problem if you are virgin and your family asks for a piece of land, generator or laptop as dowry.
But you have been ‘used’ many times to the extent that at age 21, your breasts have fallen. Why should your family demand a hefty bride price? GHS 200 is enough. When the bride price is paid, GHS 50 should be given to the family head, GHS50 to the mother-in-law and GHS 50 to the bride’s father’.
On his part, Rev Nicholas Osei, popularly known as Prophet Kumchacha has revealed that, there are no virgins in Ghana.
