The beef between Nana Ama McBrown and top slay queen and media personality Mona Gucci has reached the boiling point.
Rumours going round on social media suggest that McBrown’s husband Maxwell Mawuli Mensah has threatened to divorce her after Mona dragged his name in a squabble with his wife.
Maxwell is just unhappy with the negative press on their marriage within the past week, according to reports.
The gist is that Mona Gucci, who claims to be a professionally trained lawyer in the US alleged that Maxwell has had sexual relation with McBrown’s best friend and impregnated her.
The shocking news as Mona narrated is hurting McBrown’s marriage.
The slay queen therefore advised McBrown to deal with her marital problems instead of wasting time to probe the authenticity of the law certificate she obtained from Massachusetts Law School.
Is it really true? Everybody seems to be asking if Nana Ama McBrown and Maxwell Mensah are still living together as husband and wife.
People are urging the couple not to separate to save the future of baby Maxin.
Tell you what, McBrown could end up in the mental hospital if what we are hearing on social media is true or comes to pass.
The finest actress cum TV host has expressed in a recent media interview that one of her greatest fears in life is getting divorced but is of the view that men–including her husband–cannot be stopped from cheating.
‘You cannot stop men from cheating, but while cheating, they should attach some respect to the act…If you are cheating on your wife and you have not been caught, it’s a plus to you’, Nana Ama McBrown argued on Neat FM.
The assumption is that celebrity marriage does not last. The UTV presenter however says she’s psychologically prepared to make hers work no matter the trials she may face.
And she’s proven it in the mature way she handled news of cheating in her marriage.
Responding directly to Mzbel about her past relationship with her husband, McBrown said the singer isn’t her friend and what she did with Maxwell some years ago is none of her business.
‘I don’t know how she started and ended with my husband so, it’s none of my business’, she told Kwaku Manu in an interview. ‘She isn’t my friend. In my life, I think I’ve met her three times’.
Maxwell a while ago broke his silence on the break up rumour.
Sharing a photo to IG, he said that people who want to bring confusion between him and his wife are just worrying themselves because they’re simply not bothered.
‘Resentment is like drinking poison and waiting for the other person to die.#TGIF‘, Maxwell wrote.
Observers are worried. McBrown’s love for her husband is stronger than tidal waves.
She admits that ‘marriage is not easy. Mine has not been all smooth but my husband and I understand each other well so we solve our issues amicably.
I understand the man I married and I do my duties as a wife. I cook and do everything a wife has to do to make her husband happy’.
Nana Ama McBrown draws her strength from her mother;
‘My mother has been married for more than 20 years and despite all the troubles she went through she is still married and I want to break her record. I only pray God gives me the strength, understanding and the energy to do that’.
