Actress cum video vixen Rosemond Brown popularly known as Akuapem Poloo was on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 convicted by an Accra Circuit Court over indecent exposure of her 7-year-old son to obscenity.
Akuapem Poloo has been in court since last year after she was accused of posting naked photo on Instagram to mark her son’s birthday on June 30, 2020.
Appearing in court today, she pleaded guilty to all three charges and was convicted on her own plea.
The list of charges against Akuapem Poloo include; (i) publication of obscene materials, (ii) engaging in domestic violence namely conduct that in any way undermines another person’s privacy or integrity and (iii) engaging in domestic violence namely conduct that in any way detracts or is likely to detract from another person’s dignity and worth as a human being.
The court will now sentence the Ghanaian entertainer upon her own plea, but as required by law, it has to be sure of her state as a woman.
In view of this, the court has ordered for a pregnancy test to be conducted to ensure that Akuapem Poloo is not pregnant.
Akuapem Poloo has been remanded into police custody for two days. She is expected to appear in court on Friday, April 16, 2021 with the results of the pregnancy test to have her sentence read to her.
It appears Poloo’s fate is dependent on the results of the pregnancy test. Will she be lucky?
