Founder and leader of the Glorious Word and Power Ministry International (GWPMI), Rev. Dr. Isaac Owusu Bempah has presented the horn of an unknown animal (which he describes as ‘horn of unicorn’) to President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
Rev Owusu Bempah handed over the horn, together with a holy Bible to President Akufo-Addo when he joined the congregation at Odorkor to worship a few months after winning the 2016 Presidential elections.
According to the controversial Ghanaian man of God, he was instructed by God to present the horn, which signifies the strength and power of God to Akufo-Addo to prepare him spiritually for the tasks ahead of him as President of the nation.
Some Ghanaians have asked the President to return the sacred horn to Owusu Bempah.
They believe the ‘horn of unicorn’ is evil and has been the cause of the general economic hardship in the country under Akufo-Addo’s government.
But Owusu Bempah tagged people making such statements as ‘ignorant’.
He said: ‘I heard that some NDC members claiming that the horn of strength I gave to our President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has brought hardship in the country. Some are even saying that there is an evil force in the horn fighting against Ghana and the government of Akufo-Addo…
‘When I hear issues like this from the NDC, I realize that they are really ignorant about scripture. In the Bible, Samuel used a horn with oil in it to anoint David as a King, and so a horn is not an evil thing because most of the old prophets in the Bible used horns’.
