Ghanaian born US-based vlogger, Twene Jonas has refused to render an apology to Asantehene Otumfour Osei Tutu II despite calls that he has disrespected the royal king.
In a viral video recorded by Twene Jonas, he accused Otumfour Osei Tutu of partly allowing gold miners (‘Galamsey’ operators) to destroy water bodies in his kingdom.
He used strong words on Asantehene.
An Asante chief based in the US declared Twene Jonas ‘wanted’ over his unsavory comments and further directed him to publicly beg the royal king.
Another angry man in Bechem also poured libation and cracked fresh eggs to provoke the gods to curse the vlogger.
During incarceration, he said Jonas will live with the curse until he apologises to his royal majesty.
But Twene Jonas, who goes by jargons like ‘The System Is Working 24/7’, ‘Glass Nkoaa’, ‘Didi Free’ and ‘Di Abrofo Mmaa Free’ has taken a swipe at the Bechem man.
He said the man should have cooked and eaten the egg instead of using it for a curse.
If there’s really ‘power’ as the Bachem man and the traditional leader has made us to believe, then we expect Twene Jonas to be deported to Ghana anytime soon.
