The Pokuase Union of Prostitutes have taken a decision not to have s3xual interc0urse with officers in the Ghana Police Service for the next five years.
The ashawo workers stated in a press statement sighted by Kasatintin.com that, they have consciously suspended ‘services’ to the police force to teach them a lesson.
Union President, Fresh Girl Baby Jet accused the police of betraying the sex workers by joining a task force to raid their premises and scatter their belongings in a dawn operation in Pokuase.
33 women aged 20 to 35 years, were rounded up during the swoop on the suspicion of engaging in sex trade.
The police argued that the structures in which the alleged commercial sex workers resided mostly served as the hideouts for drug peddlers, robbers, and minors who are sexually exploited.
They indicated that the suspects would be screened. The Immigration Service was expected to process the foreigners, mainly Nigerians involved in the illicit activity for deportation while the others would be investigated and put before the law courts if found culpable.
Fresh Girl Baby Jet maintained the police did not treat them with respect in this regard although Union members always give police officers special ride in bed.
‘We are undertaking this position to starve police officers who are always in bed with us to learn their lessons not to raid us in a Rambo style again’, a portion of the statement read.
‘..henceforth, we shall not render any form of s3xual interc0urse, intimacy or jolly ride to any police officer in Ghana for the next 5 years ahead of us’.
‘We are using this medium to also advise other prostitutes groups to desist from offering their ‘tokro abodwese’ to any police officer’.
