A new study has revealed an insightful information on why some women have stopped shaving their pubic hair in recent times.
According to an online survey conducted by Kasatintin.com over a period of 6 months, most women say they have not shaved their private part for so many years.
Approximately 3,000 women mostly from Ghana, Nigeria, Kenya and South Africa participated in the online polls.
60% of the women said they have not shaved their pubes for the past 10 years whereas the rest revealed they started grooming their pubic hair just about 5 years ago.
A few of the women considered triming of the vag as ‘very important’.
Such category of women indicated they have completely shaved the hair on their pubes at least once but not more than five times.
The respondents explained they went bald during menstruation and when they wanted to have s*x.
Others however said they reserved some hair on their vulva to produce heat under their pants during the cold weather.
Kasatintin.com gathers from the polls that most of the women kept their pubic hair bushy to catch up with the trend – vulva beauty.
Some women in Korea, US and other advanced countries have recently begun undergoing pubic hair transplant surgery, a procedure that is intended to add extra hair to the pubic area.
The pubic hair transplant surgery takes just a few hours and cost around $2000.
In Korea for instance, pubic hair is considered a sign of fertility and sexual health.
It is estimated that some Koreans spend close to 100,000 hours of their adult life trying to get extra ‘artificial’ hair so as to conform this ‘acceptable’ form.
Now you know, some women prefer to let their pubic grow, while others want to trim it, shave it, or wax it.
