A driver has given a full account of how a policewoman left her iPhone 12 pro max in his car after she forcefully took Gh¢200 bribe from him.
The driver alleged that the incident occurred when he was travelling from Aflao to Accra.
According to him, the police stopped him at a checkpoint in Sogakope for not using his seat belt.
The driver said he admitted the offence and begged one policewoman to forgive him. But the latter refused to let him go and detained him.
He claimed in a post sighted by Kasatintin.com that the policewoman angrily sat in his car and demanded Gh¢200 bribe from him amid threat to seize his driver’s licence and also impound his car.
Sadly, the driver gave out the last money on him he had budgeted for fuel and went his way.
The driver said a ‘strange’ phone rang in his car when he reached the Tema motorway.
He took the phone, an iPhone 12 pro max which cost over Gh¢11,000 and noticed it belonged to the policewoman who demanded the Gh¢200 bribe.
According to him, the police officer has begged him to return her phone but he has made up his mind to keep it as a gift.
‘My head dey run riot here and both angels and demons are whispering things in my ear at the same time’, the confused driver said.
