More revelations have emerged in the last 24hours about the key suspect, Richard Appiah who was involved the murder of the two teenagers, one named Louis Agyemang in Abesim, a suburb of Sunyani in the Bono Region.
Police search team also found pieces of meat in Richard’s refrigerator which they are suspicious could be fresh human body parts, according news release sighted by Kasatintin.com.
The suspect, aged 28 and known to be a surveyor and a sports commentator with the nickname ‘Fire Man’ was arrested over the weekend after father of one of the deceased lodged a complaint with the police.
Another suspect has also been apprehended in connection with the murder.
Richard Appiah allegedly killed his 12-year-old junior brother after he picked him up at 5.30pm on Friday to buy pizza for him.
Reports say the suspect is mentally challenged which perhaps led him to commit the crime.
According to information, he recently threatened his father with cutlass, sacked him from home, and also burnt all his mattress, clothes and wardrobe and other personal belongings.
Some family members are reported to have appealed to the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Dr George Akuffo Dampare to send Richard Appiah to the psychiatric hospital to ascertain the he true state of mind.
Richard has not made any statement in police custody.
The IGP has dispatched National Police CID to assist the Bono Regional police to get to the bottom of the matter.
