Ghanaian Man Commits Suicide Over Deportation From Germany

Ghanaian man, Eric Akwasi Hagan has committed suicide by hanging at Ohwim Hwediem in the Ashanti Region.

Eric, 45 got frustrated after his wife left him.

Father of the deceased confirming the story said, the woman divorced him because he couldn’t take care of her anymore. But they have been married for several years.

He added that Eric Akwasi Hagan was financially stable while staying in Germany until he was deported to Ghana.

According to him, Eric was depressed by his sudden low financial status and wife’s decision to leave him.

Many have blamed the woman for the woes of the deceased who survived by one child.

Eric’s body has since been deposited at the morgue awaiting autopsy.
