Rev Owusu Bempah, 3 Others In Court For Attacking Police Officers

Popular Ghanaian prophet Reverend Isaac Owusu Bempah is expected to appear in court today, Monday September 13 over a number of charges cited by the Ghana Police Service.

Police confirmed the arrest of Owusu Bempah and other members of his church during an operation on Sunday, September 12 at his church premises.

It stated in a news release sighted by that, the head pastor of Glorious Power Ministries and three others have been ‘detained for further investigations over the creation and circulation of multiple videos containing threats, the brandishing of a weapon and the assault of some Police personnel’.

‘During the operation, some members of the church,believed to be under the direction of Reverend Bempah assaulted some Police Officers’.

The victims have received medical treatment.

For now, two suspects are on the run and the police is pursuing them to face the law.
