President Nana Akufo-Addo and former KMA boss Maxwell Kofi Jumah are now in-laws.
This is because Edwina Nana Dokua Akufo-Addo, the third daughter of Ghana’s President and Kwabena Jumah have married at a private ceremony which took place over the weekend.
Kasatintin.com has obtained some exclusive photos and videos of the couple’s traditional marriage ceremony held at the Presidential villa of the Jubilee House on Saturday, October 9, 2021.
Few persons including Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia and wife as well as NPP party gurus were in attendance.
President Akufo-Addo, playing the role as father gave Edwina Nana Dokua’s hand in marriage.
We are unable to tell when she and Kwabena Jumah started their relationship but information suggests that Jumah has lived all his life in New York, USA.
Sources say he has 3 kids with his Jamaican lover who he broke up with two years ago.
We don’t know yet if Kwabena Jumah has cleared all issues regarding the divorce with his former Caribbean wife.
Edwina Nana Dokua Akufo-Addo’s past relationship
Rumours were rife that Nana Dokua was dating Kimathi Rawlings, son of late President Jerry John Rawlings.
In 2012, there were even reports that the two were getting married.
The Akufo-Addo’s denied knowledge of the alleged marriage between their daughter and Kimathi.
The family pointed out in a statement that,the publication in the Al Hajj newspaper dated Tuesday, 26th June, 2012, alleging that Kimathi Agyeman-Rawlings, son of the former first couple, is set to marry Nana Akufo-Addo’s daughter, Edwina Nana Dokua Akufo-Addo is an outright fabrication.
They further entreated the public to disregard the said story.
