The minority side of Ghana Parliament have raised serious concerns as to the way the house approved the 2022 budget on Tuesday evening.

The budget was approved in the absence of the NDC MPs. They boycotted parliament.

They believe that someone else who resembles Dome Kwabenya MP, Sarah Adwoa Safo stormed the house to aid the majority side to take a decision on the budget.

Government is seeking to raise more revenue for the next fiscal year especially through the introduction of the E-Levy to be imposed on all electronic transactions.

He explained that ‘Following pictures and videos we are reviewing this morning, it is becoming quite apparent to us that there may be a case of impersonation with regards to the lady who was presented as Adwoa Safo. It’s beginning to appear that she may not be Adwoa Safo’.
