Accra–The Amanfrom District Police Command is investigating the case in which a 37-year-old woman, identified as Madina Agyei allegedly killed her brother’s son, 6 for stealing fish from her palm nut soup.
Reports sighted by Kasatintin.com revealed that the woman prepared palm nut soup on Wednesday and decided to reserve some for another meal the next day.
At about 12am, a tenant claimed that she heard Madina Agyei beating up the 6-year-old boy called Mubarik.
The suspect accused him of being a thief and complained that he had stolen and eaten all the fish in her palm nut soup.
The witness maintained she heard the noise as the woman disciplined the child at midnight.
Later, the suspect confessed to her that she had killed Mubarik –all because he is a thief.
The suspect has been arrested by the police and assisting them in investigations regarding the sudden death of the boy.
The sad incident reportedly occured at Amanfom Official Town in the Ga South Municipality of the Greater Accra Region.
