Controversial Ghanaian songstress, Mzbel has exposed the President for owing her for almost 6 years and refusing to honour it.
The musician said she has run out of patients and warned him not to play jokes with her anymore on the matter.
Mzbel, in anger tone fired the President and gave a slight details of the secret deal between them which has caused her outburst on social media.
Mzbel did not specifically mention the name of the President involved in the case in reference but was worried he had used ‘Papano issue’ as an excuse to punish her.
She said ‘When I have to chase people for what they owe me it gets ugly! Be a man of your word….it’s been almost 6years already!’.
Mzbel continued ‘Mr. President, I’ve been humble, considerate, quite and patient enough, so stop using this “Papano” issue as an excuse to punish me!’
‘Papa no’ saga largely caused the defeat of NDC’s presidential candidate John Mahama in the 2020 presidential elections.
The then opposition NPP rigorously used saga as a campaign message, accusing Mahama of blowing state funds on slayqueens–Mzbel, Tracey Boakye and others.
Surprisingly, the ‘Papa no’ issue died a natural death after the elections.
Rumours are rife that the scandal was cooked up to score political points and a rich political figure hatched the plan.
We are all confused as to which particular President owes Mzbel in this case.
