Coach Milovan Sacked, Asamoah Gyan Takes Over As New Black Stars Coach–Confirmed!

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has finally sacked Coach Milovan Rajevac following his disastrous performance in the ongoing African Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Cameroon.

The Black Stars exited the tournament after Comoros beat them 3-2 on Tuesday.

Kasatintin News has learnt that the Serbian coach has been axed by the Ghana FA for supervising one of Ghana’s worst performances at the AFCON.

Coach Milovan Rajevac will be paid his 3 months salary in lieu but he is reported to have rejected the offer alleging it was agreed that he will stay on after AFCON and prepare Ghana for the World Cup.

The GFA will go ahead to terminate his contract and is set to appoint a caretaker coach for the World Cup qualifiers as soon as possible.

According to sources, the FA is likely to appoint Asamoah Gyan as the new head coach of the Black Stars.

But a host of experienced local and international coaches who have expressed interest in the job.
