A Ghanaian man aged 31 has shot his wife Doris Amoah with a single barrel gun after she refused him sex.
Police source revealed that the suspect, Charles Soglo attempted suicide after the incident which occured at Adansi Nyakumase in the Ashanti Region.
‘Charles Soglo shot his hands and lost two of his fingers and shot his chest. His wife had been transported to the hospital when a team of officers got to the scene. The officers then transported the suspect to the hospital’, police source told Adom FM in an interview monitored by Kasatintin.com.
Doris, 21survived the attack and is receiving treatment at the hospital.
The suspect is on admission at the hospital but kept under strict surveillance.
Police say they have retrieved the single barrel gun used in committing the crime and assured that Charles Soglo will be prosecuted after the medical care.
