Kenya Launches ‘Flying Vehicles’ To Ease Traffic On The Roads–Photos

East Africa nation Kenya has designed flying electric cars to ease traffic congestion on the road.

According to The African Hub, the future is bright as ‘Kenya is set to pilot its first ‘flying electric vehicles’ that can take off and land vertically’.

It added that the project being spearheaded by Kenya Airways ‘is expected to kick off in 2025, and is aimed at beating traffic’.

The flying taxis technology has been explored by the likes of Uber and the Boeing Company.

Reports predict that by 2040 there will be 430,000 such vehicles in operation worldwide.

The idea of flying taxis, that is ferrying people around cities were inspired by the once popular animated TV series, The Jetsons.

The 1960s TV show depicted a family who lived in a futuristic metropolis where commuters headed to work in cars that soared through the air.
