Management of Despite Media have issued a statement to address the distasteful comments Kwame Nkrumah Tikese made against Afia Pokua a.k.a Vim Lady live in the studios of Okay FM.

Award-wining female broadcast journalist Afia Pokua has received a lot of support following the unprofessional remarks against her.

Kwame Nkrumah Tikese and two fellow presenters of Okay FM were captured in a viral video openly discussing Vim Lady in her absence on a live show.

They gave her a two-week ultimatum to report to work in person and also cautioned her to stop the virtual broadcast of her socio-political talk show ‘Gyaso Gyaso’.

Nkrumah Tikese and his colleagues expressed the view that it was wrong for her to host virtual shows on Okay FM.

‘I learnt she is paid huge sums of money at the end of every month’ he said in local dialect ‘Your former employer, Multimedia never allowed you to host any show virtually whether you were available or not’.

He thus questioned why she wants to have her way at Okay FM.

Kwame Nkrumah Tikese lamented, ‘We have really suffered to make Okay FM what it is today. We started with only two programmes and you have been employed to do this, you’ve gone somewhere saying you are sick; if you are not well seek medical attention’.
