Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta is under pressure to resign from his position over the mismanagement of the Ghanaian economy.
Both the majority and minority side in parliament have asked President Nana Akufo-Addo to sack Ken Ofori-Atta without delay.
Earlier today,over 80 Majority MPs held press conference and advised the President to take immediate action on their demands.
The Majority MPs plan to boycott 2023 budget debate if the Finance Minister doesn’t leave the office by November.
NDC MPs also say Ken Ofori-Atta must go.
North Tongu MP, Sam Okudzeto Ablakwa tweeted;
‘In compliance with Article 82 of the 1992 Constitution of Ghana, the NDC Caucus in Parliament has successfully filed a motion for his immediate removal.
