Ken Ofori-Atta Resignation–Full Statement + Video

Ken Ofori-Atta is likely to stay in office for the rest of the year.

A close source in government reveals that,  it has been resolved at high level meeting that, the Finance Minister should remain at post as he is currrently preparing the 2023 budget and also negotiating the IMF deal which can ensure economic recovery.

On Tuesday, both the majority and minority caucus in parliament demanded that, Ken Ofori-Atta must resign.

President Nana Akufo-Addo is expected to make an official statement on the fate of Ken Ofori-Atta soon.

Some political watchers believe the President might move Ken Ofori-Atta to a different ministry–possibly health.

Kasatintin.com projects one of the following personalities could be appointed to fill the vacant position: Dr Mark Assibey-Yeboah, Prof Gyan Baffour, Kwame Pianim and Dr Ernest Addison.
