The price of Holy Bible sold across Ghana is set to go up.
The new price takes effect on Thursday, November 10, 2022.
The Bible Society of Ghana made the announcement on Tuesday and explained that the new price has been influenced by the ‘high rate of inflation’ and ‘high cost of clearing from the ports‘.
A full statement from the management of the Bible Society of Ghana read:
‘Due to the high rate of inflation and high cost of clearing from the ports, our prices of Bibles would be slightly reviewed upwards, effective 10th November, 2022. God bless you for your understanding’.
Ghana is facing serious economic crisis. The Church of Pentecost has declared a 3 day fasting and prayers to intercede for the nation.
A section of the public have doubts prayers and fasting will stop the economic hardship in the country.
