The Little Pocket On Your Jeans Is Not Just A Design But Serves This Purpose (Read)

Scores of people are still lost as to why there are little pockets on almost every jeans trouser found on the market today.

The tiny pocket is designed on the right side of your jeans and you can draw a finger or two in it.

According to information Kasatintin.com has gathered,  the tiny-weeny pockets date back to 1890 when they were stitched into Levi’s ‘waist overalls’ jeans.

The now commonly seen blue jeans were made by Levi Strauss & Co, invented two centuries ago, and have remained ever since, the Sun Newspaper’s Danielle Cinone wrote.

Zack D. Films also explains that some people think the little pocket is just part of the design. But that wasn’t always the case.

He said ‘The jean companies added this tiny little pocket for a very specific reason.

‘You see, back in the day workers needed to be able to tell the time while on the job. So jean companies added this tiny little pocket for a safe place to keep a pocket watch’.
