The Minister of Food and Agriculture, Dr Owusu Afriyie Akoto has officially resigned.
Dr Afriyie Akoto presented his resignation letter to President Akufo-Addo at the Jubilee House a few minutes ago.
The 73-year-old stepped down on Tuesday, January 10, 2022 to focus on his Presidential ambition.

He is seeking to lead the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in 2024 when President Akufo-Addo’s term of office comes to an end.
