Prophet Eliyu Simiyu, who claims to be Jesus Christ has filed a complaint with the Kenya Police over an alleged threat on his life.
Prophet Simiyu calls himself the Jesus Christ of Bungoma. He told police his life is in danger as the world prepares to mark Easter in few weeks time.

Prophet Eliyu Simiyu said some people have planned to crucify him on Easter day to fulfil the prophecy about him in the holy scriptures.
He thus made an appeal to the police to offer him maximum protection from now till the end of the Easter holidays.
Simiyu has since gone into hiding after making his forthcoming crucifixion known to the police.
