UTV presenter Akrobeto may soon join Media General’s Onua TV.
Captain Smart from Onua TV gave a hint about the pending media transfer in a social media post which read ‘My eyes have seen and my ears heard…He will also join us. ONUA!!!’.
Although Captain Smart didn’t mention any name, fans assumed that he made reference to Akrobeto.
Akrobeto’s exit comes barely a week after Media General successfully poached Nana Ama McBrown from the Abeka junction based TV station owned by Ghana’s richest man Osei Kwame Despite.
Akrobeto and McBrown are the heart and soul of UTV. This means that UTV could go down drastically if Akrobeto also leaves.
In other news, Ghanaian rapper Edem has announced his bid to contest a seat in the NDC parliamentary primaries.
