Celebrated Ghanaian man of God, Bishop Dag Heward-Mills got emotional after he lost his eldest son, David, 31, on April 2022.
The young psychiatric doctor who practised his profession at Prisma Health in South Carolina passed on after a short illness.
He was buried in Houston, US in May, last year.
Speaking about David’s death for the first time, Bishop Heward-Mills lamented that his son’s death makes it seem ‘as if there is no God’ and ‘as if God is angry with me over something’.
‘Look at me standing here; my son is dead: as if I don’t pray, as if there’s no God, as if God is angry with me for something…’, the renowned Bishop said at an Easter Sunday church service.
In a tearful voice, Bishop Heward-Mills expressed confidence that he would see his son again one day.
Quoting the scriptures (Corinthians 15: 22), he said ‘So, all our brethren who are gone, we are going to see them again and I believe I’m going to see my son again, he’s going to be made alive again one day’. Watch the video below for more.
