President Nana Akufo-Addo turned 79 years on March 29, 2023.
The president had a mini birthday celebration at the Methodist Church supported by his wife Rebecca and daughter, Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia and a host of others.
In a video circulating on social media, President Akufo-Addo could not blow off the flames on the sparkler candle that complemented the birthday cake presented to him.
It was observed that President Akufo-Addo’s hand was shaky when he was cutting the birthday cake. Rebecca had to guide him to cut the cake.
One netizen commented ‘Mr President this candle we don’t blow. It will go down itself. Happy belated birthday to you Sir. May the good Lord bless you with more age so I can watch more videos of you blowing candles’.
Another social media user said ‘You are blessed with your age. But you are weak and should handover to your vice. Ghana needs strong people now’.
‘One day I will be the president of Ghana and celebrate my birthday with mega achievement like double road system to some major cities in the Republic’, another netizen added.
