Ghanaian politician, Chairman Wontumi known in real life as Bernard Antwi Boasiako marked Good Friday in a special way.
The business mogul is captured in an Easter flyer sighted by Kasatintin.com in which he put on a dark Akan mourning dress ‘kuntunkuni’. Chairman Wontumi kept a straight face.
The message on the flyer read ‘Wishing you all a blessed Good Friday. May the blessings of God always be upon us’.
Gabby Otchete-Darko shared a copy of the flyer on Twitter saying ‘Chairman Wontumi mourns the death of Jesus Christ of Nazareth on Good Friday in the proper Ghanaian way’.
Reacting to Gabby Otchete-Darko’s tweet, some netizens urged Chairman Wontumi to use part of his money to organise a proper Akan funeral rites for Jesus Christ.
