A Ugandan court has ordered the administrator of a WhatsApp group to reinstate a member who was removed from the group without his consent.
Herbert Baitwababo headed to court after Allan Asinguza, the administrator of BUYANJA ROOTS WhatsApp group removed him from the page for requesting that he accounts for the funds he has collected from members since 2017.
In its ruling, the court directed Asinguza to add back Mr Baitwababo to the BUYANJA ROOTS WhatsApp group, which he obliged.
Kasatintin.com has gathered that shortly after Baitwababo was reinstated, most of the members left the BUYANJA ROOTS WhatsApp group and formed a new one.
Mr Baitwababo has returned to court to compel the members to come back to his WhatsApp group. Watch video below.
