President Nana Akufo-Addo’s remarks to the flood victims of the Akosombo Dam spillage has caused outrage among a section of the public.

President Akufo-Addo is seen in a viral video addresssing a gathering and saying ‘I came here because Ghanaians are having difficulties and suffering and it is my responsibility to try and help. If it is the question of counting who votes for me and who doesn’t vote for me, I shouldn’t be here because you don’t vote for me but that is not my concern’.

Some say the President’s statement in the Volta Region flood victims has been twisted for political reasons.
