A Ghanaian supporter in Abidjan has attacked Chris Hughton, the head coach of the Black Stars.
The angry fan attempted to beat up the coach on Sunday evening at the hotel of the Ghana national team after Cape Verde defeated Ghana 2-1 in the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.
According to reports, some Ghanaian diplomats around stopped the suspect and the coach was taken to safety.
