Lead singer of popular international Reggae band Morgan Heritage, Peter ‘Peetah’ Morgan has died. He was 47.
The band announced the passing of Peetah on Instagram on Sunday,February 25, 2024 but gave no information about what caused the veteran singer’s death.
The Morgan family also confirmed the story saying ‘It is out of sincere love that we share that our beloved husband, father, son and brother and lead singer of Morgan Heritage Peter Anthony Morgan has ascended today February 25th, 2024. Jah come and save us from ourselves because love is the only way.
The statement added, ‘Our family thanks you in advance for your overwhelming love and support, and we ask for your continued prayers as we go through this process. We ask that you please respect our privacy during this time of healing. Thank you!’.
The band, Morgan Heritage comprises of five siblings, with Peetah Morgan being the lead singer.
Peetah’s vocals is heard on hit songs such as ‘She’s Still Loving Me’, Don’t Haffi Dread (To Be Rasta) and ‘Down by the River’. SOURCE: Kasatintin.com
