47-year-old man, John Ansah has been remanded into police custody by the Tarkwa Circuit Court, for burning the private part of his 13-year-old biological daughter.
Reportedly, John, who is a charcoal producer accused the 13-year-old girl of sleeping around with men. He then tied the legs and hands of the victim with a rope in their bamboo house.
Worst of all, he put two cutlasses in a fire which he repeatedly inserted into the vagina of his daughter.
The victim sustained severe burns on her vagina and thighs.

It is alleged that the man was infuriated by a viral video in which his daughter and a young guy were seen lodging in a hotel room.

John Ansah will re-appear in court on Thursday,April 18,2024.
