It’s A Pity—Ghanaians React After EC Governing Board Member Stormed Polling Centre To Pray For Divine Intervention Over ‘Spiritual Attacks’ On Machines Being Used For Limited Voters’ Registration Exercise

An Electoral Commission (EC) governing board member seen praying for machines and connectivity, asking for divine intervention for technical challenges in the on-going limited registration exercise, TV3 reported on the X platform earlier today and supported  the news content with a video.

Following this post, some netizens have chastised the the EC board member for failing to understand that the technical difficulties being experienced at the registration centers requires practical steps other than spiritual warfare to address the problem.

Meanwhile, the EC has issued an apology for the network challenges experienced during the second day of the voters’ registration exercise.

In a statement released by EC Tuesday tonight, the Commission acknowledged that they faced some challenges with the network, which particularly affected the online mode of registration.
