Ghana’s President Nana Akufo-Addo slipped and got people laughing after he mistakenly mentioned the name of the opposition leader, John Mahama as part of his government during his speech on Wednesday,31st July,2024 in Accra.
At the launch of the District Road Infrastructure Programme, Akufo-Addo mistakenly called his government the ‘Akufo-Addo and Mahama government’ instead of ‘Akufo-Addo and Bawumia’.
‘That’s unforgivable. I hope you will allow me to withdraw that statement’, the president creatively threw in a joke after he realized the mistake.
