The Managing Director of the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG), Samuel Dubik Mahama has resigned.
Mr Mahama, who was appointed to the position by President Akufo-Addo in May 2022 resigned for personal reasons.
Portions of his resignation letter intercepted by the media read ‘I have concluded that it is in my best interest to step away for personal reason.

‘I also wish to express my sincerest gratitude to the President for the trust placed in me, which has been a significant aspect of my journey here’.
Mr Mahama was appointed as the Managing Director of ECG following the statutory retirement of his predecessor, Kwame Agyeman-Budu. SOURCE: Kasatintin.com
