Supporters of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) are confident that the party’s flag bearer Dr Mahumudu Bawumia will defeat NDC’s John Dramani Mahama in the December 2024 presidential polls.
The NPP enthusiasts have based their firm conviction on the outcome of previous US presidential elections and present one in which Donald Trump defeated Kamala Harris.
Social media user Petit 4 Bawumia wrote on X (formerly Twitter): ‘A win for Trump and the Republican is a win for Dr Bawumia and the NPP
Bill Clinton for the Democratic won from 1993-2001 JJ Rawlings from the NDC won
George Bush for the Republican won from 2001-2009, J.A Kuffour from the NPP won
Barrack Obama for the Democratic won from 2009-17 , President Mills and John Mahama from the NDC won
Donald Trump for the Republican won from 2017-21 and Nana Addo won
