Disaster! The lives of about 65 persons are in danger after the Church of Prosperity at Akyem Batabi in the Asene-Manso-Akroso District of the Eastern Region suddenly collapsed.
According to a report by Adom News, monitored by Kasatintin.com, the worshippers were having a prayer service after hours of fasting when the incident occurred.

A few members managed to escape from the uncompleted six-storey building housing the Church of Prosperity before it finally came down on Tuesday afternoon.
But more members are believed to have been trapped under the debris.
‘Voices of those trapped inside could be heard with some screaming for help’, the Daily Graphic said.
They are alleged to have converged at the church premises to, in one spirit, fast and pray to God to heal their leader, Prophet Akuwa Isaac over an undisclosed ailment.
An eye witness said a mysterious snake emerged from the ground floor of the church and just as they blew an alarm for the men around to kill it, the building caved in.
Information suggests that the collapsed structure has been under construction for the past 28 years.
A bulldozer has been spotted on site and assisting to move the wreckage so that lives could be saved.
On record, four victim had been rescued as 4.30pm. One dead body had also been retrieved from the wreckage at the time of filing this story.
