Seven passengers have died in a tragic road accident on the Amasaman- Nsawam road in the Greater Accra Region on Monday.
The incident was caused by a tanker truck driver who ran over a commercial van locally known as trotro, killing the passengers onboard.
An eyewitness said the trotro driver had slowed down to avoid hitting a pothole at the section of the road which is under construction.
However, the tanker truck which was behind it experienced break failure. The helpless situation caused it to crash into the trotro.
Bystanders offered assistance to get the 10 victims out of the mangled vehicle but only three were responsive. SOURCE: Kasatintin.com
