Aku-Sika Akuffo, the niece of President Nana Akufo-Addo has caused massive anger after she defended the appointment of an NPP loyalist in government.
One Jake Bediako, an NPP loyalist has been appointed as the ‘Presidential Coordinator for Youth Engagement and Strategy’ at the Office of the President.
A lot of people are confused as to what the exact role of Presidential Coordinator for Youth Engagement and Strategy is.
Some Ghanaians are unhappy and have tagged Jake Bediako’s appointment as a made up position and attempt by the President to just create ‘jobs for the boys’.
In a reaction, legal practitioner and niece of President Akufo-Addo, Aku-Sika Akuffo has said Ghanaians have no right to complain because Mr Bediako is overly qualified for the job.
She alluded that the appointee attended the best universities in the world. Aku Akuffo stated that gentleman obtained degrees from Cornell University and Cambridge University so people with Ho Poly certificates should relax and allow him to do his work.
